Favours! When we start planning we’re often so excited about these tiny gifts for our favorite people (our guests!) but too often does this quickly turn into a stressful process of “has this been too done?”, “is this too cliché?”

Rest assured, here are some of our top tips and ideas for keeping your favours within budget without compromising on impact or wow factor.

1 – Think outside of the box
A wedding favour should be as personal as possible. This doesn’t necessarily mean painstakingly making every one yourself (although if you have the time, feel free!) but could mean a personalised engraving or your names and wedding date printed on. For printing, promotional marketing companies are often the best place to source bulk buys.

2 – Don’t blow the budget!
Set your budget per item and stick to it! We’ve been to beautiful weddings where packs of tic-tacs have been custom wrapped with “Mint to be!” and the wedding date on. These can be done with a domestic printer and are a fab and frugal way to make a unique impact.

3 – Dual purpose
Our own favourites are favours with a function. Whether you’re nicely boxing a piece of fruitcake or providing a homemade “hangover kit”, favours that will serve the guest well after the wedding are always appreciated and show that you’re thinking of and appreciating those who’ve travelled to celebrate with you.a wedding favour
