Light and sound can completely transform an event. You will learn, in the process of planning your big day, just how much information is out there and just how overwhelming it can be. Below we have listed key elements that can change an event for you.

1)      Uplighters
Bar uplighters are beautiful, casting a glow on a wall or feature. It is worth investing in these and in ones that change colour so you can achieve a warm glow during dinner while a blue or purple hue in the evening will encourage dancing and fun.

2)      Sound Systems
A key tip for sound systems is that it is worth spending here. With poor quality sound, your wedding video and immediate experience will be impacted. There is nothing worse than silence during speeches because no-one can hear what is going on! Invest in a good 16 channel mixer if you have a live band which will give you plenty of remit for good sound. Ensure your videographers get a full recording of the audio feed so they don’t have to rely on camera sound to make you a wonderful film of the day!

3)      Technicians

The cost of technicians can make the most modest bride blush but it is always worth having an expert on hand to tackle any problems that might arise with light and sound. They will know how to keep the electric load at a functioning level while cabling in a way that ensures your venues health and safety standards are met – this is so important!

These elements can definitely be overwhelming but we’re here to help. Feel free to call Eventsbykeisha should you need any advice around the production of your event!
